Omaha Burlington Depot
1899Unknown maker. Omaha's Burlington Depot was constructed in 1898 for the Trans-Mississippi Exposition. Unlike many of the rural depots—including Red Cloud's—the new Omaha depot was built to be "fireproof throughout" of Omaha gray pressed brick, Bedford limestone, and Denver granite. The white oak woodwork was only used in doors and panels.
